Past Projects
A Successful Year
2016 has been another successful year for the Cardston & District Health Foundation in our work supporting local health care services. With the help of our community, The Foundation has funded vital equipment for Cardston Health Centre including:
Chemistry Analyzer, this was a major project and The Foundation received sizeable donations from various organizations, businesses, and individuals. The cost of this project was $80,000.
Battery powered surgical equipment, which helps make the surgeries more efficient and less cumbersome. This cost was $25,000.
In total, over $105,000 worth of enhancements were provided through the foundation this year, all for the benefit of our community.
Dr. Kilam and Satelite Surgeries Come to Cardston
Cardston and District has become the beneficiary of increased health care, thanks to the efforts of the Chinook Health Region, the Cardston & District Health Foundation and epecially to the commitment and expertise of Dr. Surendar Kilam who works out of the Lethbridge Regional Hospital.

Hospital's Ultra-Gift
Cardston Hospital's newest addition to its facility is a portable ultrasound machine, raised through fundraising efforts from the hospital, the Cardston Rotary Club and the community.
The unit, valued at $55,000, will be used to assess trauma patients, pregnancies and other E.R.-related procedures.
